The emergence of Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour as the Labour Party’s governorship candidate in Lagos State for the 2023 poll has suffered setback. Naija News earlier reported that the former senatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) emerged as LP gubernatorial candidate in Lagos in an election held on Wednesday. Rhodes-Vivour polled 111 votes to beat his only opponent, Hon. Moshood Adegoke Salvador, who scored 102 votes. The primary for the replacement of the LP governorship candidate was witnessed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
