According to an unnamed source at the Commission who spoke with Vanguard, the review is completed and its results have been sent to the President for approval.

Armed policemen on Wednesday dispersed supporters of Sunday Adeyemo, aka Sunday Igboho, who staged a protest in Ibadan against his arrest. It was gathered that the armed policemen had taken over the place which the protester had converged around 3.30 pm. The policemen stationed themselves at strategic positions at the location. After clearing the traffic, they stayed for a while before they finally left. Naija News had earlier reported that Sunday Igboho was arrested at Cotonou Cadjehoun Airport with his wife on their way to Germany on Monday night.

The federal government has been urged to review its policy on the importation of vehicles into Nigeria considering the masses, Naija News reports. This is as the acting National President of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents, Kayode Farinto, lamented recent hitches encountered with the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) introduced by the government. It was observed that since the introduction of the electronic system for the valuation of imported vehicles, the platform has been riddled with controversies that have made vehicles almost inaccessible to ordinary Nigerians.
