The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has given reasons why the agency cannot parade the suspended former Commander of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) of the Nigeria Police Force, Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), Abba Kyari. In a series of post on its Twitter handle on Sunday, Director of Media and Advocacy, NDLEA, Femi Babafemi, said the agency cannot parade Abba Kyari over drug trafficking allegations because it is not the agency’s custom.

FG Shuts Lagos, Abuja International Airports Over Coronavirus

The Federal Government has declared it will shut down the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos; and Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja from Monday, March 23, to contain the coronavirus pandemic. Naija News reports that this was disclosed by the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), Capt. Musa Nuhu, in a statement on Saturday, March 21. This online news platform recalls that three other international airports in Kano, Enugu and Port Harcourt for flight operations were shut on Saturday, leaving the two most important airports in the country open.
